I was born and raised in Lewistown, Montana, and feel fortunate to be part of a four-generation family legacy there. Today, my daughter and son carry on that tradition as the fifth generation. Growing up, I was blessed to spend many wonderful years learning from my family. My dad taught me the joys of gardening, while my mom, grandma, and great-grandma passed down their knowledge of canning, cooking, and baking. Most importantly, they taught me the value of spending quality time with family. I am a proud grandmother to four amazing young men who bring endless joy to my life. I cherish every opportunity to spend time with them and create lasting memories together. When I’m not with family, I enjoy spending time with friends and my cat, Sassafraz — “Sassy” for short.
My true passion is definitely being in the kitchen, where I enjoy trying new recipes and cooking for people I care about. I also enjoy being involved in the community. I’ve enjoyed making new friends who are showing me all that Helena has to offer. I’m looking forward to getting out and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding mountains and lakes.
Being part of the Great Divide Dental team is an honor and lets me continue my 30-year career, including Dental Assisting, Office Management, and Patient Coordinator. I’m amazed at the many changes made in the dental field through the years. It keeps it interesting. I work with an outstanding team that truly cares about the patients. Dr. Spiger is top-notch, and I am proud to be a part of his team, giving quality care to our patients.

I grew up in Eastern South Dakota and went to college in Mankato, Minnesota, graduating in 2007. I moved to Helena for a job after graduation. I met my husband out here, Tyler. We were married in 2017. Together we enjoy many outdoor activities and have an Aussie named Charley, who means the world to us. He travels everywhere with us, especially back home to see family. I enjoy traveling all over the world. I have been a member of the Air National Guard since 2002.
I love being a Dental Hygienist and watching my profession grow over the years. I enjoy getting to know patients and giving them the best dental treatment possible. The dental field is always changing and improving. I participate in extensive continuing education to stay on top of new technology and learn new ways to improve patient care to achieve maximum results. I feel privileged to work in an office that strives to provide the best dentistry and experience for every patient.
Vikki, Dental Assistant
Originally from Missoula, I grew up in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. I moved to Helena in 2009 when my husband’s job was relocated to Fort Harrison. We have two awesome kids who are now ‘adults.’ I love to spend time with my family and was fortunate to be able to be a stay-at-home mom for most of my kids' childhood. I was able to volunteer at their schools, go on field trips, and coach their soccer teams.
Once my kids were a bit more independent, I went back to work in veterinary medicine. We have always had a wide range of animals, from chinchillas to horses and everything in between. I have a love for all animals and was very happy to be able to do something that I had a passion for. I took an interest in dentistry and decided to expand my knowledge and move into the human field.
I met Dr. Spiger and his amazing staff here at Great Divide Dental. I love being part of a team that really cares about its patients. It is so satisfying to be able to help people, whether they have a painful tooth or are seeing the amazing results of a full smile makeover. I love my work fam and all our awesome patients here at Great Divide.

I’ve been married for nearly 40 wonderful years, and I cherish every moment filled with joy and laughter. My love for travel has taken me to many incredible places, but my heart will always be tied to the vineyards where I grew up visiting with family. The beauty of California wines captivates me, and visiting vineyards brings back cherished memories. I also have a deep appreciation for the mountains, where I find peace and inspiration.
My love of travel has taken me on many adventures: Olympic bobsledding with 13 banked turns at over 4gs, a regatta aboard America’s cup racing sailboat, adventures in Europe, South America, Canada and most of the United States. New adventures await!
Creativity is a big part of who I am, and I express that through my passion for quilting. Each quilt I create is a labor of love, combining colors and patterns to tell a unique story. I pride myself on being a good problem solver, and I enjoy tackling challenges with a creative approach. Whether I’m crafting a quilt or enjoying a glass of wine, I strive to live life to the fullest, sharing joy and laughter with everyone around me.
